MycoRise Up! Youth in Mycology 2026

Dear Young Researchers and Mycology Enthusiasts,
we are pleased to invite you to the 7th edition of MycoRise Up! Youth in Mycology conference, which will take place from 5th to 7th of June, 2026. The conference will be held in European Centre of Geological Education of University of Warsaw in Chęciny, Poland. The scope of the conference covers every topic connected with fungi and fungi-like organisms. The event is being organised by Biology of Microorganisms 
Students’ Society of Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw and Polish Mycological Society.

This conference is meant to create a safe environment for young scientists (undergraduates, master’s students and PhD candidates) to practice their presentation skills, discuss their research and network with other fungi researchers. Consequently we welcome both original research as well as literature review in the form of oral or poster presentations. We encourage all attendees to actively participate in the
conference.

All abstracts, presentations and posters must be in English, which will ensure the inclusivity of the conference. The abstracts will be assessed by the scientific committee of the conference. The committee will propose improvements if necessary and will be in charge of accepting the abstracts. The organising committee aims not to charge active participants a conference fee. The final information considering the possible charges will be announced later in the following communicates. However the possible fee will not exceed 70 PLN.
